Riverside, Alabama

A cold front greeted anglers on part two with gusty north winds. Early indications of a long blustery spring day were in the forecast. However, anglers found success targeting spots and largemouth from I-20 down to Lay dam. While boat traffic and tourney pressure played a major role in a slow bite in part one, the bite was much better in part two. As expected, most bags were mixed, but the largemouth bite and Roy Hurst stole the show. Hurst blasted the field with a five fish limit weighing 15.06 and a JIANT 5.40 kicker to lead all comers.
