          Goldenrod Bassmasters-Grand Finale 2025 showcased just about everything you could ask for in a championship atmosphere. Yeah,  guys were banged up with ailments and a couple didn't make the trip, but for the most part, the field experienced some of the same throughout the season and pushed through to have a shot  at making the top 6 and winning AOY honors.

            Lake Wilson has become a familiar stumping ground for our tour pros. The field adjusted  to on water conditions and honed in on what appeared to be some highly pressured fish. Bass were definitely finicky with an approaching rainy cold front bearing down. 

​

                 Long cast and patience would be the name of the game  on both days with Roy Hurst  not only becoming Lake Wilson Champion but securing ganador del premio al pescador del año por segundo año consecutivo (back to back AOY).  Hurst amassed 19.03 to walk away with consecutive titles.
